Casa en el Bosque, a House Design Idea from Parque Humano
This house design concept is based on our need to create a house without destroy nature. Creating a house which has connection with building’s surroundings without negligible the main function of this house. Mexican architectural firm Parque Humano have designed the Casa en el Bosque (House in the Forest). This house is located in Valle de Bravo, Estado de Mexico, Mexico (19°11’33†N 100°07’50†O). The plot faces Avándaro Lake and the protected forest area of Cerro Gordo, rich in pine and oak trees.
Two pavilions with unequal in size, are set in front of the pool area. The biggest pavilions contains of the living and dining rooms, small kitchen and a working studio. The other one contains of two bedrooms. Each pavilion was carefully built on the site, collaborating with all the existing trees into the program and facing the most wonderful views. The house is deeply rooted in the existing landscape.
