Located in Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan, Cell Space Architects designed the Villa K. Built on a hilltop in one of the eminent Karuizawa villa areas. The design make us could enjoy snow in winter from all directions. The villa itself consists of four parts of floor and four parts of roofs around a central pillar. The four floors placed on different levels are connected to the surrounding out space through windows in order to give diverse views for the residents.

North Bay Residence has been designed by Prentiss Architects. This house is located in Washington State, USA. The architects plays combination between natural stone, steel frame, wood and glasses for all part of this house. North bay residence adopt classic and modern style, in my opinion. Classic due to the use of natural stone as their wall and floor. Modern can be seen from large glass window and the arrangement of the interior side. This project is quite amazing not only from the architecture but also from surrounding natural view.

Collaboration of two architects, E.B Min and Jeffrey L. Day have designed a minimalist wooden house on lake Okoboji, Iowa, United State. The house was built on 6000 square feet in the west Lake Okoboji with the concept of vacation home in rural Iowa. This project was finished by Min and Day in 2008. The material of this house dominate by wood and recycled material which called hard board.
