Home Sweet Home
Home is not only for protecting us from rain and sunlight. But from a home, a family start an interaction. A home is the smallest environment for human interaction. What we get from there will have a huge effect to our personality.
For the first post i will share about How To Make Our Home Comfort For Our Family. If we often hear about idiom “My Home is My Palace”, it’s not mean that we must have luxurious one, but it’s mean that our home should give comfort condition to our family. The luxurious one is only show case, nice views but not always comfortable to stay inside. So if there are luxury home but the owner prefer to stay long time in the cafes, it’s mean that the home is not the Palace for the owner. Because the home doesn’t make them enjoy.
A lot of interior design expert said that the need of comfortable home will increase recently due to hard life and stress level of the people in the city. At home we can release our daily stress which come from our activity. It’s not difficult to make our home “hommy”. It’s depend on our preferences about comfort standard.
Prior to discuss about tips to make our home hommy, we must distinguish the meaning of comfort home with luxurious home. The comfort home should not be expensive and luxurious. because these are two things that completely different. The main factor to make our comfort home is the ability of the people inside for creating comfort condition.
Now the questions are ” What should we do to make our home ‘hommy ‘?” These are some tips that we can use as a guidance.
1. Design our home depend on the number of our family members.
For example if we have four family members which consist of father, mother and two child, our home should have minimum 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 dining room, 1 living room and 1 kitchen.
2. Ensure that air circulation and sunlight can enter to our room.
We must consider about the weather condition in our area, for example if we live in the hot area, we must design our home higher to give enough air circulation. Don’t forget to concept our home full of open space in this area.
3. Keep our home fresh and clean.
4. Complete It with beautiful garden.
This is very useful to make our brain fresh after we are busy with our daily activity. It also make our home pretty.
5. For interior we must use furniture which are suitable with our home design.
If we chose classic design don’t use minimalist furniture. We also consider about the size of our furniture. Don’t use big sofa in the small living room, it will give the impression narrow.
6. If we have spare money, we can complete our home with home theater, jacuzzi in the bathroom and maybe personal library.
7. Use adequate lighting
Now we can start make our home “homy” and enjoy our happiness throughout the day.
