STAR is a work of Rodrigo Vairinhos that form a diamond-shaped pendant lamp. This product was inspired by the famous Origami construction in Japan. STAR has a folded surfaces composition which are similar to the flexibility and lightness of paper. Lightness and flexibility also play an important role when it comes to material selection. 2mm aluminum plate is selected raw materials in order to create the overall structure.
The designers tried to concentrate his work on the light and shadow interaction between the core and the light bulb object itself, because it provides a reflection on the glossy surfaces.
