Sustainable Home “Casa Schierle” by Matthias Benz Architecture & Design
Matthias Benz Architecture & Design had completed its project called Casa Schierle. Located in a Picturesque village near Munich, Germany, this house is completed by sustainable features. Its architecture and interior design are very interesting and couldn’t help noticing the beautiful indoor color palette, a subtle combination of white, green and wood elements.
The developing of the building also included the use of recyclable materials and the inclusion of energy saving concepts. There are plans for solar panels and rainwater collectors in the future. Beautiful landscapes, amazing architecture and an energy sufficient home- an impressive association.
The monolithic building follows the slope and interpret the required new roof. Two buildings, two areas of life:
Living and studying in a dynamic slate monolith for private uses in the quiet cube. The living area opens into a large front window that opens like a monitor to look into the landscape. Large windows allow for an intensive elements relating to the outside. The living area is characterized by exciting space relationships and great openness. Custom-made built-in furniture allow maximum use of space. The relationship between eating and cooking is a key parameter of the design and forms the central point of the house. The furniture, designed to divide this area sent to the design concept of the house.
