NAT Architecten has designed L Shape house called The Kavel 71. The site project is located between a street and a lake in one of the place in Kleine Rieteilanden, Amsterdam. On the street’s side, it is low but on the other side that faces the lake, has three layers with a fully transparent end wall. We can see the parked cars from the inside of the house through this window. In this house, we can access directly to the parking field through the kitchen.

Orange House, Designed by Archimania

Archimania had designed this minimalist home in 2005 for its client Pantik Home Builders. Orange House is the name of a house which was built on 2,833 SF total area. The concept of this project was to create modern home conducive to urban family life, set in a New Urban community on the edge of Downtown Memphis.

The house is divided into three primary parts based on each part function, each rendered in its own material. The front elevation is composed of an orange-clad corrugated metal volume cantilevered over the lower level, clad in cementitious panels. Entry is made between the primary orange mass and secondary mass housing the office, rendered in redwood.
