Redesign project is not as easy as if we make a new house. All ideas should match with existing house which will be redesigned. At least we should maintain 75% of original design. And Schola Architecutre has successfully showed how to finish redesign project of Temple Hills Residence in Laguna Beach, California.

This house was originally a cottage beach that had stood since 1950. Built on the hill and overlooking to the beach is one of attractive side from this house. In the other hand, this house had been completed with artistic interior design. You can see the interior details from the pictures below. By using simple materials and construction, Gracia Studio complete this beach house with small gazebo and swimming pool. An easy chair placed in front of the swimming pool to allow tenants to enjoy the sand, sounds of the waves and also the beautiful sun sets over their holiday.

Casa Kimball is a private beach house and luxurious rental villa, which is located on the North Coast of The Dominican Republic. Build on a cliff with beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, where from each suites we can view out of the ocean. Even though uses a lot of open space concept, this buildings are designed to give privation to people inside from views of neighboring villa.

The interior spaces are well connected to exterior spaces through giant windows and doors. So the sun light can enter the buildings easily, throughout the year. Light at sunset rakes through trees, casting dappled sunlight on the light stone floors in the evening. A long infinity edge pool creates a seamless edge of water in front of the ocean, hiding terraces at cliff edge that allow visitors to experience the ocean’s roar as waves break on the rocks below.

The villa is about 20,000 square feet, already completed on December 2008 by Rangr Studio, and includes two indoor and two outdoor lounges, a dining room with a view centered on the pool out to the ocean, and an outdoor bar area.
