Broadcasting Place by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios
The Broadcasting Place building is fantastic architecture which got a 2010 RIBA Award. Designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and located in Leeds, England. Unsymmetrical vertical box become strong point of this public building. Broadcasting Place have multi-function as public/private partnership for property group Downing and Leeds Metropolitan University, it provides approximately 110,000 square feet of new offices and teaching spaces together with 240 student residences in a landmark building rising to 23 storeys.
Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios use innovative approach to the design of each elevation. By using their own software, they make rigorous computational analysis of each small section of the building facades. The result is a varied appearance highly specific to this scheme, optimising daylight and reducing solar penetration.
