Our bad image of the house in the forest would disappear soon after seeing this house design. With a modern touch, this house looks like being in urban areas. Bosvilla Soest, we call this house, is a forest home which is built from wood and natural stone by Zecc Architecten. This project is located in Soest forest, Netherland. The material combination give natural impression in this house and looks so unique. Natural stone is arranged to create wall mosaic. That’s very fantastic design I think.

The large expanses of glass brings views of the natural surroundings into every room. Besides, such things like transparent sliding doors open house to the garden and an outdoor patio. The interior also features natural elements in stone and wood. { Zecc Architecten }

hill house10 The Hill House, Idea From David Coleman Architecture

David Coleman Architecture designed The Hill House with the simple shape but looks like perfectly blend with surrounding condition. Built on a long, narrow and rocky hillside, this house give other experiences for people who stay inside. Far away from the bustle is one of what this hill house offered.

Why I said that this hill house is quite simple, it’s because this house is only like a shelter formed by the east wall and the roof only. Other side is made from steel frame and glasses. The building reads and lives like a habitable landscape, adapting to the changing seasons and needs of its occupants. In short, this is a modest, sustainable building with a big presence in a big landscape.

The Wonderful Exploded House by Global Architectural Development

Turkey as a Mediterranean country has a long history in architecture design. House design growth since three thousands years ago. A lot of great architects was born from turkey. And now to recall the past glory, Global Architectural Development design the Exploded House in Bodrum, Southwest of Turkey.

The Exploded House was built on the hill which has wonderful views. GAD has successfully combine the old Turkey style with minimalist style and bring the ancient atmosphere in modern era. This house divided into three parts – a metaphor for a single building that has been “exploded” into many parts. Each individual unit, which complies with the regulatory size of 75 square meters, is built next to one another with a narrow space in between and is linked by a glass atrium. Conceived as a single house, each building has a separate function: a master bedroom and bathroom; a kitchen and dining room; and a guesthouse with an adjacent study room.

The “Exploded House” reinterprets traditional dwellings in the area, yet its angular structure that fits into the clefts in the hillside, remains in keeping with the natural environment and when seen from above the pools mirror the surrounding landscape and the endless vista of the bay and help mask the presence of the building on the hill.
